GGUSD Student Wins Districtwide Spelling Bee for Third Year in a Row
Friday, February 1, 2019Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) held its 32nd Annual 7th and 8th Grade Spelling Bee on January 16 at the Edgar District Meeting Center. Bell Intermediate School student Brandon Tran edged out 40 other GGUSD intermediate school students, correctly spelling lederhosen to place first for the third year in a row.
GGUSD Announces Partnership with Rancho Santiago Community College District
Thursday, January 31, 2019Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) and Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD) will partner with Santa Ana Community College on a new Early College High School program that will be offered at Santiago High School beginning the 2019-2020 school year. The Early College High School model program allows high school students to simultaneously earn high school and college credits beginning their freshman year.
