Welcome Back! I'm looking forward to a great year at Northcutt. My name is Emma Druitt and I am the new principal at Northcutt. I have been in the Garden Grove Unified School District for 15 years in various positions: teacher, site facilitator, district TOSA, and principal. This is my fifth year as a principal in the district. I'm very excited to have the opportunity to work with the staff, students, and families at Northcutt. I have no doubt that this year will be filled with hard work and great successes for everyone.
Your child's education and safety are of the highest priority for the Northcutt family. However, we need your help. I encourage you to get involved in activities at school, to keep in touch with your child's teacher, and to come to us if you need assistance. We all have the same goal in mind, the success of the students. So, please do what you can to play a part. We will be offering some family and parent involvement opportunities, so be looking for that communication to come home with your child when the time arises. Also, to ensure that we can contact you in case of an emergency or if sending out a communication through TeleParent by updating your child's emergency card any time information changes.
