Welcome to Garden Park Elementary School's Student Recognition page.  This page will help you link to the many pages that recognize academic excellence.

The students in the top left corner were recognized for reading over 1,000,000 words before the end of the second trimester.  Each of these students became a member of the Million Word Club.  Several of those same students went on to read over 2 or 3 million words by the end of the school year.

The students in the top right corner were members of our academic pentathlon team.  They spent many hours after school studying literature, math, science, and history.  During the month of May these students competed against 40-60 other Orange County academic pentathlon teams.  We were proud of their academic progress and success during this county competition.
