Golden Ticket Winners

Two of these students had the "Golden Gecko" ticket that granted them an opportunity to go to lunch with the principal and a classmate.  One of our Goldent Gecko ticket winners chose to eat lunch at MeDonalds and the other winner chose to go to Del Taco.  We want to thank Garden Park Elementary School's PTA for all the things they sponsor and support here at our school. These Goldent Gecko ticket recipients won their ticukets during our Family Movie Night outing which was held on Friday, September 17th.  The family movie was the 1971 classic, "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

 

Book Fair Ticket Winners

These two amazing students purchased books at our semi-annual book fair and had their names placed in a hat.  Two names were randomly selected from the hat.  These two students won a lunch at McDonalds with their principal.  The excursion was paid for by our Glorious PTA.

In the middle of October, our amazing PTA sponsored a "Hallo-weenie Roast".  This evening was filled with food, fun-filled activities, and a Charlie Brown movie. Magic Pumpkin cookies were sold throughout the evening.  Three "Magic Pumpkin Tickets" were secretly placed in three of the cookie packages. These three students had the tickets and earned a lunch with the principal at McDonalds. The mouth watering journey was paid for by our sensational PTA.

 

Santa's Workshop Winners

The week before we left for our Winter break, our sensational PTA sponsored a Santa's Workshop.  This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to purchase inexpensive holiday items for their family and friends.  This services also included free gift wrap with every purchase. All students who participated in Santa's Workshop had their name thrown into a hat.  At the end of the week, two names were drawn out of the hat.  These two lucky winners were taken to Wienerschnitzel for lunch with their principal. The delicious excursion was paid for by our Glorious PTA.

The week before Valentine's Day our magnificent Student Council sponsored a lollipop sales event.  Two lucky students purchased a lollipop with the right marking on it and won lunch at McDonalds with the principal.  Congradulations!

The Friday before Valentine's Day our superb PTA sponsored a Faminly Sweetheart Dance.  This was a fantastic way to spend our Friday evening with the family.  Dancing, games and a Charlie Brown movie about Valentine's Day. Sweettarts in a box were sold during the evening.  Two of the boxes had a "Sweet Lunch" ticket inside.  The recipient of the "Sweet Lunch" ticket was treated to a McDonald's lunch with the principal.  As you can tell by the pictures, we had a sweet time!

The week before Spring Break  our student council sold holiday eggs to raise funds.  Three lucky students found a note in their egg that said, "You won lunch with your principal".  These three lucky winners chose McDonalds as the local eatting establishment to enjoy. We had an eggstra special time!

Friday, April 29th, Garden Park Elementary School had their annual Walk-4-Technology fundraiser.  This activity is sponsored by our glorious PTA.  The focus of the Walk-4-Technology fundraiser is to raise funds for our school's technological needs.  Three of our participants were randomly selected to have lunch with the principal.  These three lucky winners chose to eat lunch at In & Out.
