Garden Park Elementary School
students were recently introduced to optical art and the impossible geometry of M. C. Escher. M.C. Escher lived from 1898-1972. Many of Escher's most famous optical illusions were included in an intriguing slide-assembly, which inspired our students to create their own "impossible" geometric shapes. Our Garden Park Geckos enjoyed using their imagination and creativity as they practiced and utilized some of Escher's graphic art techniques on their illusionary art work.
Pictured below you will find a small sample of the many artistic illusions our Garden Park students created modeling after the this optical artist, M. C. Escher. |
