Date: Immediate Students to Meet Marine Corps Pen Pals Home from Iraq Students at Eisenhower Elementary School in Garden Grove will have their first face-to-face meeting with Marine Corps pen pals who recently returned from deployment in Iraq. The school is located at 13221 Lilly St. Several officers and enlisted personnel will visit the students on Friday, Jan. 9, for the school’s ‘Flag Friday’ patriotic ceremonies at 8 a.m. The Marines will arrive at 7:30 a.m. for a breakfast in their honor, according to Principal Pamela Bunker. The students and Marines began their letter exchange last year.
