Date: Immediate Los Amigos High School Teacher Honored by FV Rotary The Fountain Valley Rotary Club has chosen Los Amigos High school English teacher Jeanette Morin as a ‘Teacher of the Year’ for 2003-04. Morin was among the 14 outstanding educators from Fountain Valley schools honored by the Rotary Club earlier this month at Fountain Valley Community Center. The Huntington Beach resident was nominated for the award by the teaching and administrative personnel at Los Amigos. Morin has taught at the high school for 31years, and she currently co-chairs the Los Amigos English Department and serves as faculty advisor to the ‘Rhythm Nation’ student dance ensemble. The Rotary Club’s ‘Teacher of the Year’ awards were given to teachers from Garden Grove Unified School District, Fountain Valley School District, and Huntington Beach Union High School District.
