Date: Immediate GGUSD Elementary Spelling Bee Scheduled April 2 Outstanding spellers from the Garden Grove Unified School District will participate in the annual spelling bee for elementary school students in grades 4-6 on Friday, April 2, 9 a.m. Champions representing 46 GGUSD elementary schools are scheduled to meet in the competition at Peters Elementary School, 13162 Newhope St., Garden Grove. Parents are welcome to attend. The district winner and three finalists will be honored with plaques at the conclusion of the event. Special trophies will be given to the schools of the top four students as well.
