Date: Immediate Crosby Elementary School to Host First Student Career Day A three-star Air Force general, architect, animal wildlife specialist, painter, dentist, and several elected city officials are among some of the individuals who will share their expertise and professional experience at the first Career Awareness and Exploration Day hosted by Crosby Elementary School on Thursday, Jan. 22. The school is located at 12181 West St., Garden Grove. From 11:45 a.m. to 2:10 p.m., 32 volunteer speakers share their on-the-job responsibilities and discuss educational requirements with Crosby’s 520 students. The presentations will be conducted in classrooms, with students having an opportunity to hear up to three speakers. Call the school at (714) 663-6346 for additional information.
