Date: Immediate GGUSD Adult Education Open House Both adult education campuses in the Garden Grove Unified School District open their doors to the public this month in celebration of Adult Education Week. Open house activities will take place Wednesday, March 17, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Lincoln Education Center, and March 16, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and March 17, 9 a.m. to noon, at Chapman-Hettinga Education Center. Lincoln Education Center is located at 11262 Garden Grove Blvd., Garden Grove; and Chapman-Hettinga is located at 11852 Knott St., Garden Grove. Community members will be able to visit classrooms, review course informational literature, and hear about programs and services offered though Adult Education and the Regional Occupational Program. Visitors, as well, are invited to observe a variety of classroom settings in such programs as English as a Second-Language, high school diploma, GED preparation, reading, computer technology applications, cosmetology, business office occupations, and health sciences occupations.
