The Department of K-6 Instruction is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating implementation of all aspects of the instructional program for elementary schools. Specifically, this includes the planning and implementing of the professional development program, support for schools completing the Single School Plan, BTSA, teacher support and coaching, and instructional aide training. In addition, the Department of K-6 Instruction offers guidance and support for individual school site instructional projects.
