A proud member of the Garden Grove Unified School District

Welcome to the Dr. Walter C. Ralston Intermediate School website…

The Ralston staff is committed to high academic expectations as well as providing support for our students in meeting those expectations.  We challenge students to reach high goals not only academically, but socially and personally as well.  Teaching and learning at Ralston focuses on the California Standards and Garden Grove Unified School District’s pacing.  Each English Language Arts, Mathematics, History, and Science course culminates in a quarterly benchmark exam.  Our goal is for each Ralston student to steadily progress towards proficiency in all subjects.

Please be sure you are signed up for the Parent portal so you, and your son/daughter, can track their progress grades.

When progress reports and report cards are received at home, please take the time to review them as a family.  Students should talk to their families about what they are learning at school.  Students and families should use their Timetracker to monitor assignments.  Families can help by setting up a consistent 30-minute time period each night for schoolwork.  In addition, students should be reading every night for 15 minutes.

Student success is a team effort – students, parents, teachers, and other school staff.

Please let me know if we can assist you in any way. We are proud to be Ralston Eagles!

                                                                           Mrs. J. Cody
